Description of the Coin
A multiplied image of the "Star of David", in the center. The inscription around the rim, "25 Years State of Israel Bonds" in Hebrew and English.
The denomination of "25" or "500" Lirot with the state emblem below. Around the rim, the inscription "Israel" in Hebrew, English and Arabic, and the date "1975/5735".
The uncirculated silver coin is mintmarked with a 6 pointed star at the bottom. The proof coins are mintmarked with a Hebrew 'mem' at the bottom. The Gold Proof coin mintmarked at the upper right.

Uncirculated: A Mint State coin struck on a standard planchet. The "Bonds" coin is struck with a small 6 pointed star mintmark beside the State Emblem.
Proof: A coin which was made with special care. The coins are struck on specially selected and polished planchets. They are struck using polished dies. The coins exhibit a mirror-like surface in the fields and a frosted appearance on the raised points of the coin. A small Hebrew 'mem' mintmark will appear on the "Bonds" coin beside the State Emblem.
