Description of the Coin
Front
In Hebrew, "Strength for Israel" with a six pointed Star of David at the left.
Reverse
The denomination "25 Lirot" with the State Emblem below. The word "Israel" in English and Arabic with the year "5736-1976" in Hebrew and English.
The Proof coin is struck with a small Hebrew 'mem' at the bottom. The uncirculated coin with a 6 pointed star.
The edge of each coin is inscribed in Hebrew, "Twenty-eighth Year of the State of Israel."

Uncirculated: A Mint State coin struck on a standard planchet. A small six pointed "Star of David" mintmark struck on the "Strength" coin at the bottom rim.
Proof: A coin which was made with special care. The coins are struck using polished dies. The planchets are specially selected and polished. The coins exhibit a mirror-like surface in the fields and a frosted appearance on the raised points of the coin. A small Hebrew 'mem' mintmark is struck on the "Strength" coin at the bottom rim.
