A 25 Lirot coin to commemorate the "Brotherhood" in Jerusalem, the capitol of Israel and the home of the three religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee." Psalms 122:6.
Description of the Coin
Front
The city of Jerusalem which is carried on the wings of a Dove. The inscription, "Brotherhood in Jerusalem, Capital of Israel," in Hebrew and English.
Reverse
The denomination "25 Lirot" with the State Emblem below. "Israel" in Hebrew, English and Arabic with the year "5737-1977" in Hebrew and English.
The Proof coin is struck with a small Hebrew 'mem' at the bottom. The uncirculated coin with a 6 pointed star.
The edge of each coin is inscribed in Hebrew, "29 Years to the State of Israel."

Uncirculated: A Mint State coin struck on a standard planchet. A small six pointed "Star of David" mintmark struck on the "Brotherhood" coin at the lower left.
Proof: A coin which was made with special care. The coins are struck using polished dies. The planchets are specially selected and polished. The coins exhibit a mirror-like surface in the fields and a frosted appearance on the raised points of the coin. A small Hebrew 'mem' mintmark is struck on the "Brotherhood" coin at the lower left.
