Coin Description
Front: A woman holding a spear and a shield. A California grizzly bear at the left and the mountains in the background. Around the rim, "United States of America - Half Dollar - Liberty".
Reverse: The California Tower and the Chapel of Saint Francisco, in the center. "In God We Trust", below the buildings. Around the rim, "California Pacific International Exposition". The coins were struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1935 and at the Denver Mint in 1936. The date appears at the right.
