This coin commemorates the 20th Anniversary of the reunification of the city of Jerusalem
Description of the Coin
Front
The coin is inscribed "20 Years United Jerusalem" at the top. An image of the Lion's Gate of the Old City wall is below the inscription. The "Ammunition Hill" memorial is at the left.
Reverse
The denomination "1, 2 or 10" from top to bottom with the date "1987/5747" in Hebrew and English around the rim. "Israel" in Hebrew, English and Arabic. In the center, the official emblem of the State of Israel. "New Sheqel" or "New Sheqalim" below the State Emblem.

Uncirculated: A Mint State coin struck on a standard planchet. The coin displays a matte type appearance. A small six pointed "Star of David" mintmark struck on the "Jerusalem United" coin below the State Emblem.
Proof: A coin which was made with special care. The coins are struck using polished dies. The planchets are specially selected and polished. The coins exhibit a mirror-like surface in the fields and a frosted appearance on the raised points of the coin. A small Hebrew 'mem' mintmark is struck on the "Jerusalem United" coin below the State Emblem.
